Yes he was a strange man, and say what you will, but I grew up to that music, I went to his concert, and damnit he put out some very decent tunes. Many memories to those songs from my childhood and with my mother.

A great music talent, despite any allegations.

One of the best concerts I've been to, back when I was super young at the QE2.

Can't believe he's dead. It's as if you don't expect singers, performers, movie stars etc, to ever pass away..

Because people on Ventrilo/TeamSpeak are hilarious.

We're doing a quad team with NO healer, and horrible buffs, of one of the hardest bosses in the game. A quad on this boss has only been done once before, by pretty much the same group of people (me included).

But we just fail soooo much in this quad its just too damn funny. Some of you won't understand stuff obviously, but whatever.

Basically, Blue Pixies are healing pet's. BattleSummoner's can dual summon two pets.

Fred (Byakuya) only just rebirthed his job class from Shadow Hunter to BattleSummoner. He starts off with NO WEAPON on the blue pixie, which means next to no healing power, so he puts his staff on the BP, and leaves himself weaponless.

THEN he uses a 2h Mace. TOTALLY the wrong weapon for his class, in fact - epicly pointless, and therefor, so epicly funny.

This was hilarious....

BTW, quick update, We are Time Attacking PP1 at around 5:30pm EASTERN STANDARD TIME (US) on either wednesday or thursday.

To you guys who might be reading this from Exalted guild in Rappelz... here's a few quick things I'd like you to know first up:

1. I don't claim to be any kind of expert, god not even close. These are just some suggestions/ideas/room for discussion points. If I sound blunt here, it's because I know you noobs have short attention spans, and I have a habit to babble on, so I'll try keep it to the point.
2. Doing this because I haven't set up forums for our guild yet (my website is down atm), and we're all on at different times. It makes it hard to communicate, and when we're trying to do sieges, a quick half hour briefing, which only lasts 5 minutes, isn't really sufficient to discuss a range of topics, ideas, strategies or questions.

So. Just trying to make things easier in the mean time, get some ideas running, and get some discussion going.

We tried sieging pp1 last saturday. We all agree that we need to improve on our teamwork a bit.

So, this is, effectively, my view on things. I brought up some ideas in guild chat, and got told some of them were good, so I thought I'd try circulate discussion some more.

You can post comments/replies to this post (please do), you dont have to sign up to LiveJournal to do so, but please sign your name off in your reply so we know who's saying what. Alternatively, just say stuff in guild chat. But I think it'd be easier if we had a discussion thread of sorts going.

And I cant be assed doing a write up about my trip at the moment. I am dead tired. I'll be leaving soonish to go pick up Karma from work in the CBD, and then Ill be crashing to sleep tonight in a BED! OMG A BED!

Three nights on the damn train... I am so thankful for a bed. Oh. My. God.

Everything is fine. I'm sad. I'm missing brisbane. But I'm excited about getting stuck into things here and trying some new things and doing some exploring.

Hoping to meet people around here soon. Want to speak with a few people regarding photography and whatnot and make certain I don't step on anyone's toes here, as there happens to be some -very- talented photographers here in perth, and I don't need another mark greenmantle scenario happening.

Anyway. I'll post stuff about the trip tomorrow perhaps. For now, I'm too tired to be assed.

BUT. I have PHOTOS for you. And they do say, a picture is worth a thousand words right?

(But we all know, I write more than a thousand words per "event" anyway.. Oh well)...
